Interview with Popular Beauty Blogger Eva from Nicova Beauty

Hi Eva, kindly tell us about yourself?

Hello, my name is Eva Lutz. I am a beauty and fashion blogger from Austria. I also work part time in the office as assistant. In my free time I love to travel the world and discover new places. I love to listen to music, watching movies and creating content for Instagram and my blog Nicova Beauty.

What made you decide to start the blog? Was it a thoughtful choice?

It was in the year 2013 when my best friend Nicole and I sat down and thought about, it would be a good idea to share our experiences with beauty and hair products and new fashion trends with others because we love to connect and interact with people and also learn from others.

Good, so how was the starting response?

It was a good response, mainly from German speaking people. In the meantime we have followers from all over the world.

So, now how many hours do you give to your work and what do you enjoy most?

I spend at least 3 to 6 hours a day with creating content or answering e-mails, messages, comments, photo-editing, planning new shoots. Nobody really knows how much time and effort this takes.

Being hair and beauty blogger, what’s your go-to outfit?

I like it really simple with a good pair of highwaist-denim jeans, nude high heels and a comfy white top.

Is there any beauty or hair care product you use regularly?

What do you do if you don’t like a product that’s been sent to you for review?

I actually always tell the brands, who want to work with me, that they first need to send me the product, so I can try it out, if I like it and if it works for me. If yes, then I start talking about a collab. If I don’t like the product, I won’t write any review. It is maybe then just not suitable for me. You know every person is different has different needs and not every product fits for everyone.

Do you have any inspiration in this field?

I am obsessed with looks of actresses and supermodels from the 90s. Other than that, I get a lot of inspiration from other bloggers and women on Instagram or their own blogs. I love to try out recommendations, I came
across a few very good things through this. It’s the beauty of networking and social media in my opinion. Sometimes I also compliment women on the street and ask them about their skin care or hair products.

You do have a good number of fans following, what kind of thing they ask most about?

Lots of different things. One of the most asked question is, if I would ever do a meet-up with people? Yes I would do that, but I don’t know where and when, because everyone is from different cities.

I get a lot of questions to certain items I show, where I bought them and if they really work.

Another question I often get is, if I have a boyfriend or if I am single.
The answer is, yes I do have a longterm boyfriend.

Any message to the fans?

I love each and every one of you. I know, everyone says that, but without my subscribers, I couldn’t do, what I am doing. I am really enjoying being creative and have this as my personal outlet and relief from stress. Thank you so so much for supporting me over all these years! Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart!
